Data transfer rate up to 40 Gbps, 8x the data transfer rate of USB 3.0 when connecting an external device with USB 4, USB C monitor cable provides full 8K@60Hz video resolution. Fully backwards compatible with earlier USB versions: 3.1, 3.0, 2.0, 1.1, and 1.0. Also supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode (DP Alt Mode).
